Review: Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation

In my humble opinion, Urban Decay have really stepped up their game this year. I've been looking forward to trying their newest foundation launch All Nighter, particularly since I'm already a fan of the All Nighter setting spray. I picked mine up at Sephora, but it's now available in the UK, too.

This foundation claims to be waterproof with a 'modern matte' finish, and all night wear. Very appealing to me.

First of all, the packaging is gorgeous. Sleek, modern and lightweight, not too big or bulky for your makeup bag. Shade 3.5 is a good match for me (I'm around an NC20 at Mac, for reference).
The texture is a lightweight liquid that feels almost silky, and blends beautifully into the skin. It doesn't feel at all cakey or dry, thanks to the 'modern matte' finish, and sets to look matte but not flat. It feels lovely and light. There are three times more pigment packed into this foundation than in the Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation, so a little bit goes a long way.
The lasting power is great, comfortably wearing all day without breaking up or melting off on humid days. I have normal skin with a slightly oily t-zone, and this foundation works fine for me. Before I tried it I had heard that it oxidizes, but I haven't noticed it happening on me. Also, compared to other high end foundations, it's quite reasonably priced at £27. Considering how little you need to cover your entire face, it's good value.
I've found a new favourite! Let me know if you try it.
